Show or Hide the Side Panel
In SnapGene 8.2 we have moved the Show/Hide button for the Project side panel up to the top of the window.
Tabular Overview of Selected Files in Project Folder
Selection of multiple files in the Project panel now displays a tabular overview of the file metadata.
- Use the right hand "N Files Selected" dropdown menu to filter the selection to a subset of file types.
- Use the "Annotate, simulate, or edit" and "Manage Files" dropdown menus to perform bulk actions on the selected files.
- Click the Show/Hide Columns button to display different columns and change their order.
- Click on column headers to sort. Right-click on the column header to change the column order.

Updated Trace View
We have improved the viewer for trace files so that it conforms with the general viewer layout for other file types.
You can now use the full height of the window to display traces (set via Preferences → Traces and Alignment).
You can now show the nucleotides above or below the peaks.
