How have the SnapGene Views and controls changed for version 8.0?

Changes to the Views and View Controls
In SnapGene 8.0 we have continued to modernise the look and feel of SnapGene and have simplified and rearranged the controls for the various views.
Here's a brief summary that shows how things differ in SnapGene 7.2 and 8.0.
View Controls
Controls to switch between views have moved to float at the top of the panel.
Toolbars in Map and Sequence View
The Side toolbar has been simplified. Topology, layout, and view-specific options are now placed in a new Toolbar that floats in the top right corner of the window.
Toggle the Side Toolbar buttons to show or hide annotations and other information.
Hover over a Side Toolbar button to see a Tooltip, and see menu buttons for further options.
Click a dropdown button to select, deselect or adjust additional display options.
Description information, Split View, Find and Zoom controls:
1: The Description panel is now toggled on or off via the "Info" button.
2: The Split View button has moved to the Top right corner of the window.
3: A "Find" button now floats in the bottom left corner of the window.
4. The Zoom button has been removed from the main interface. To use Zoom controls you can access them via menu View → Zoom Controls.
Other Information
1: The selected feature and selection coordinate information has moved to the bottom information bar.
2: The enzyme set in use is shown in the bottom information bar.
3: File name and sequence length information has moved to the Top Toolbar.
If SnapGene is unable to display all annotation items due to space constraints, warnings (which can now be hidden) are now displayed in the bottom right corner of the window. You can now click the "Details" link to find out more about items that are unable to be displayed.
Minimap in Sequence View
The minimap has moved to the bottom of the Sequence view window.
