How do I select and work with Project folder-based files and non-project files in the SnapGene side panel?
In SnapGene 8.1 all open SnapGene files are now listed in the left side panel.
SnapGene displays files not associated with an open Project folder as tabs and, in SnapGene 8.1 onwards, lists them in the side panel under "Other Open Files".See Use the SnapGene Project Interface.
Select any combination of project-folder-associated files(1), or stand alone files (2), in the side panel to perform "Bulk Actions" (3).
Click on a file or folder in the side panel to select it, then shift-click on a second file or folder to select a range
Use command-click (macOS) or CTRL-click (Windows, Linux) to select or deselect individual files or folders in the side panel
