View Feature Tooltips

Hover over a feature in Map, Sequence or Features view to see a tooltip summarising key information about the feature.

The tooltip includes:

1. Feature name, feature Type , an arrow or line depicting orientation, and feature color.
2. Feature start and end coordinates.
3. Gene product size and mass (if feature is a translated feature).
4. Segment details if the feature is a segmented feature.
   • The segment at the pointer position is numbered and marked red.
   • If the feature comprises more than 3 segments then the segment at the pointer position is listed along with the two flanking segments.
   • If the feature is a translated feature then the size of the translated segment product and its mass are also shown.
5. The Genetic code is shown for translated features.
6. Feature qualifier details, if present are listed.
