Obtain a List of Active Users of your Legacy Registration Code License
In 2025 SnapGene subscription licensing switched from a registration-code-based system to Email-based Sign-In.
When you reach out to renew your SnapGene license you may be advised that you are being transitioned to a new Email Sign-In License.
These instructions are for the admin/owner of a multi-seat SnapGene subscription license.
If possible, prior to purchasing/switching to the new Email Sign-In license type, log into your SnapGene MyAccount and switch to the Activations tab. Then click Download Activation report to obtain a table that includes a list of email addresses of active registered users.
Otherwise, contact SnapGene support for a list of user email addresses associated with your legacy registration code license – Contact SnapGene Support.
Invite Users to Use the New license
Once the new license has been received, log into your MyAccount and invite users to use the new license. See Manage an Email Sign-In License. Note that each invited user requires their own seat so do not invite more users than available seats.
Invited users will receive an email with instructions on how to switch to the new Email Sign-In license. For more details see How Do I Switch from a Legacy Registration Code License to an Email Sign-In License?
