My computer died/was stolen. How do I transfer the license to a new computer?

Login to your SnapGene MyAccount and use to links to download the appropriate SnapGene installer.

Install SnapGene.

If you are the owner of the license then see Unregister a Computer Remotely. Once you have unregistered remotely you will be able to register a new installation of SnapGene on a new computer.

If you license is managed by another member of your team, or by your institution, then you will need to contact the license admin and have them unregister your machine remotely.

If you are the owner of the license then see Manage an Email Sign-In License. Once you have removed the activation you will be able to register a new installation of SnapGene on a new computer.
