How do I hide tab previews when hovering over a File tab?

By default SnapGene 9.0 and later will show a Map preview of a file if you hover over the Tab title of non-selected tabs.
To disable the display of these previews follow the instructions below.
Open Preferences
Click menu SnapGene → Preferences (macOS) or menu Edit → Preferences (Windows or Linux), and select "Files & Tabs" in the sidebar.
Uncheck the option "Show tab preview on hover".
