How do I install and try out a SnapGene beta release?
Set Release Channel to Early Access
Click menu SnapGene → Preferences (macOS) or Edit → Preferences (Windows or Linux).
Use the drop-down menu to set the "Release Channel" to Early Access.
SnapGene checks daily for new updates and will alert you if/when a beta update becomes available.
Click the Check Now button to check immediately for any available beta updates.
If a beta release is available for installation then you will be given the option to install the beta software.
If you choose to install a SnapGene beta release then please be aware that the software may still have bugs.
