How do I rotate the Map view?
SnapGene 9.0 and later allow you to rotate the map view.
View a Circular Sequence
Open a circular sequence and select Map view. By default the +1 position will be located at the top of the Map as indicated by the vertical bar (indicated by red arrow).
Choose menu View → Rotate Map, or use the hot key (macOS, type CTRL–command–r, Windows and Linux meta–CTRL–r).
Drag the slider, or set a value in degrees (0-359.9) to rotate the Map view. Click OK to accept the change in rotation.
Use the slider or set the value to zero (0) degrees to place the +1 position at the top of the map.
