How do I manage a SnapGene Email Sign-In license?
These instructions are for an Email Sign-In license, available for SnapGene 8.0 and later. For older style licenses ( license key with format ####-####-####-####-####) see Manage A SnapGene Legacy Subscription or Permanent License.
Login to Your SnapGene Account
Go to snapgene.com and click Sign In.
Login in using the SnapGene account email and password used when you set up and purchased your SnapGene license.
Manage Seats
For multi-seat licenses, view your license, switch to the "Seats" tab then click Add to invite users.
Enter email addresses and click Send Invitations to invite users to use the license.
Manage License Users
In the "Seats" tab, view the list of current license users.
Click Delete† to revoke a users invitation to use the SnapGene license. Note this will cause SnapGene to revert to "Viewer" mode. The seat will then be available to assign to another user.
Click Manage Devices† to revoke an activation for a particular computer. Use this option if a users machine has been wiped, stolen or is no longer functional.

Export a Excel Summary of Users
Click download XLSX button to export a delimited summary of all user activations and devices used.
