How do I set the default MW marker on a gel?
Select the MW Marker Lane
To select the MW Marker lane, click on the lane heading above the gel.
To change the default shown in the MW Marker dropdown, click the Set Default MW Marker... button.
Alternatively, on a Mac click SnapGene → Preferences, or on a Windows or Linux computer, click Edit → Preferences.
Set the Default MW Marker for New Gel Simulations
In the SnapGene Preferences Agarose Gels tab, expand the Default MW Marker for Agarose Gels menu.
Choose the desired default ladder, then close the Preferences dialog. If your desired ladder is not shown in the list then see Customise the MW marker List.
