How do I see two views at the same time for a DNA, RNA or protein sequence?
In SnapGene 9.0 we have moved the Split view button to the top left, and now provide a new "side by side" split view!
Enter Split Window Mode
Toggle the "Split Window" button or click menu View → Split Window to show or hide the split view.
Adjust the Views
Adjust each view as follows:
- Select which "View" to display in each panel.
- Drag the divider to adjust the relative size of each panel.
- Select a feature, primer or enzyme site annotation, or click within the sequence to show the same region in the other view.
- Use the side toolbar in each panel to change what is displayed in each view.
- Use the "Display" controls to change other view-specific options.
Switch Between Side-by-side and Top-Bottom Split View
Hover over the Split view button then click the dropdown to choose between a side-by-side and top-bottom views.
