View All Primers
- Expand the side panel if required.
- Select Databases.
- Select "All primers".
- Click the Export button in the Top toolbar and choose "Export Database".
- In the "Export Database" dialog that opens, choose Export.
Choose a safe location to export the backup, then click Save.
SnapGene will save the exported database as a single .json file.
Restore a Saved Primer Database
Note: Restoring a save Primer Database will replace the existing database.
To restore the primer. database from a backup:
- Expand the side panel if required.
- Select Databases.
- Select "All primers".
- Click the Export button in the Top toolbar and choose "Import Database".
- In the dialog that opens, locate and select the backup .json file, then click Import.
The imported primer database contents will be listed in the Databases view.
