How can I open a Collection?
Open a Collection from the File Menu
To open a recently accessed Collection, click File → Open Collection and then choose the desired Collection, or Browse... to a Collection that is being accessed for the first time.
Open a Collection from the Launch Window
To open a Collection from the SnapGene Launch window, click the Open menu button, click Open Collection, then select the Collection name.
To open the Main Collection, either click the Open Main Collection button, or, select Open Main Collection from the Open menu button list.
Open a Collection from Its Folder
A Collection can also be opened by browsing to a Collection folder. First, double-click to open the Collection folder.
To open the Collection interface, double-click the "Open This Collection" icon found within the Collection folder.
View a Collection
The DNA files Area in the opened Collection is shown. Use the Areas dropdown menu to view other Areas. See Collection Areas to learn more about Areas.
