How do I add custom colors to a DNA sequence?
Select a Sequence Region
In Map view or Sequence view, select the sequence region to be labeled with a color.

However, over the "Show Colors" button in the side toolbar, and choose Set DNA color....
Customize the Sequence Color
Choose the color and specify which strand(s), then click OK.
If "Show Colors" is not toggled on then click Yes to show "Custom DNA colors".
View the Custom Sequence Colors
"Show Colors" will be toggled on, "Custom DNA colors" will now be selected in the dropdown, and the custom colors will be shown in Map and Sequence views.
Click Save, or click the ellipsis in the yellow banner to choose to save the coloring changes.
