How can I obtain a protein sequence from a SnapGene DNA sequence file?

Select any region of the sequence then click menu Edit → Copy Amino Acids → Copy 1-letter Amino Acids.

To copy an entire protein sequence, first select a predicted open reading frame (ORF) or a translated feature (CDS). To copy part of a protein sequence, select a range of codons.
