Slow Behavior or Error Messages when using Files on Cloud Storage
Some cloud services use placeholders and only download files as required. If you have slow behavior when working with files stored on a Cloud service, then ensure you set the folder containing the files to be stored locally (the folder may be a Collection folder or a Project folder).
For example, for a folder on OneDrive, locate the folder in File manager (or macOS Finder) right click on the folder and choose to "Always keep on this device". This will ensure all files in the folder are readily accessible to SnapGene.
For example, for a folder on Google Drive, locate the folder in File manager (or macOS Finder) right click on the folder and choose to "Make Available Offline". This will ensure all files in the folder are readily accessible to SnapGene.
