Slow Behavior or Error Messages when using Files on Cloud Storage

Some cloud services use placeholders and only download files as required. If you have laggy behavior with files stored on a Cloud service, set the folder containing the files to be stored locally (the folder may be a Collection folder or a Project folder).
For example, for a folder or SnapGene Collection on OneDrive, locate the folder in File manager (or macOS Finder) right click on the folder and choose to "Always keep on this device". This will ensure all files are readily accessible to SnapGene.
